Low-calorie syrups are developed to deliver natural sweetness without off-notes and without the caloric load of conventional nutritive sugars. They are also high in fibre, offer prebiotic properties and fall outside the insulin absorption/response cycle.

BENEFITS AND ADVANTAGES

Speeds up production processes. A ready-to-use product. Perfectly homogenised. No crystallisation.
Safety. Advanced filtration and heat treatment. Internal and external laboratory controls. Carefully selected raw materials.
Cost-effectiveness. Produced in facilities specially designed to create concentrates with maximum energy efficiency.
Convenience. Pre-dissolved raw materials make dosing faster and easier. Requires less storage space and reduces waste.
Versatility. They provide natural sweetness and allow for a wide variety of textures that are difficult to achieve with solid sugars.
Health-conscious. Ideal for producing diet-friendly or low-calorie foods. They help prevent glycaemic issues and conditions linked to excessive consumption of nutritive sweeteners.

VARIETIES

The low-calorie range includes BSSUCRA 68 DIET (high in fibre) and polyhydric alcohol-based concentrates such as sorbitol and maltitol.
